🌍 In September, the III International Seminar on Sustainable Tourism – SITUS 2025 took place, and for the second consecutive year, we had the joy of supporting this initiative.

What made this edition special were not only the rich panels or the Territórios Criativos Fair (although both were excellent!) but the growing certainty that Brazil is ready to lead sustainable tourism — and that this leadership must come from the inside out: with local voices, local solutions, and Brazilian leadership at the forefront.

🌱 The event brought together policymakers, entrepreneurs, Indigenous leaders, researchers, and sustainability professionals to discuss an urgent and inspiring challenge:
How can we reconcile preservation and prosperity?

During our participation, we sought to contribute perspectives that combine innovation, international collaboration, and active listening:
✅ We reflected on how technology — as in the case of the Klappir ecosystem — can support organizations by simplifying processes and driving continuous improvement in sustainability performance.
✅ We presented initiatives from our cluster that demonstrate how the Brazilian private sector is leading a paradigm shift — taking responsibility and turning environmental commitments into a competitive advantage.
✅ We shared international examples highlighting the importance of integrated action between the public and private sectors — essential collaboration to make tourism a regenerative force.
✅ And most importantly, we learned from the many Brazilian initiatives already transforming territories with creativity, courage, and resilience.

💬 One major lesson? Technology alone doesn’t solve everything.
What truly makes the difference is collaboration, respect for local contexts, and the empowerment of those already making an impact — often with limited resources but enormous determination.

Brazil has everything it takes to become a global reference in tourism that regenerates rather than exploits.
SITUS 2025 showed, in concrete ways, what can be achieved when purpose, listening, and commitment to place come together.

🌀 Questions we continue to carry with us:
— How can we support those already innovating locally, without imposing ready-made models?
— How can we ensure that technology always serves people and the planet — and not the other way around?
— How can we secure the infrastructure needed for tourism to be truly environmentally and economically viable in the long term?
