Description:
The project aims to implement Rootzone’s Danish technology in a park in São Paulo, an area previously used as a landfill. Project activities include:

  • Biological water filtration for sustainable treatment.

  • Methane management with tests and proposals for gas capture and utilization.

  • Composting of organic waste in partnership with the park’s restaurants and kiosks.

  • Reusable cup return system, inspired by the Aarhus model in Denmark.

Objectives:

  • Adapt Danish technologies to the Brazilian context.

  • Promote sustainable water and waste management.

  • Reduce methane emissions and develop packaging reuse systems.

  • Strengthen collaboration between Denmark and Brazil.
