Description:
The project aims to implement Rootzone’s Danish technology in a park in São Paulo, an area previously used as a landfill. Project activities include:
Biological water filtration for sustainable treatment.
Methane management with tests and proposals for gas capture and utilization.
Composting of organic waste in partnership with the park’s restaurants and kiosks.
Reusable cup return system, inspired by the Aarhus model in Denmark.
Objectives:
Adapt Danish technologies to the Brazilian context.
Promote sustainable water and waste management.
Reduce methane emissions and develop packaging reuse systems.
Strengthen collaboration between Denmark and Brazil.
